Product questions


I need more information about your product. Where can I get it?

Although we try to provide as much information about the clothing as possible, if there is are any specific questions you would like to ask or any queries you would like to raise please email us on sales@samatasmuse.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible.


Do you have any retail outlets? Where else can I buy a Samata's Muse piece?

Currently, Samata's Muse is sold exclusively thorough www.samatasmuse.com and will soon be stocked in an exclusive London boutique. Plans to set up bases around the UK and in New York by the end of 2007 are also underway.

How often do you release Limited Edition pieces? If they sell out will you get them again?

Unfortunately Limited Edition pieces will not be repeated. These are one-off pieces created for special occasions. We release them sporadically so the best thing to do is to check the website regularly or join the mailing list in the Sign Up section.

How much fabric will I need if I am supplying it for my dress?

This completely depends on the style you require and whether it is long or short. For the hooded dress we advise 2.5m width by 1.5m drop. For the ruffled front dress, this can range from 1.5m width by 1.5m drop up to 2.5m width by 1.5m drop. This completely depends on the length and style. We will advise you once you have decided on your style.

What information do I need to supply to you?

All the information we need will be requested on the order form (here). Additional information which would help us to ensure a good fit, especially for the Chiffon ruffled dress, are bra and waist size.

What is the order process?

1. Fill in order form here.

2. We will get back to you shortly to go through the details of your piece thoroughly. If you have any further questions, Sarah will be available for contact on sarah@samatasmuse.com.

3. Once order details are confirmed we will start to make your dress and you will sent the link to our private e-shop facility to make payment.

4. Registered members of the mailing list can email a designated email address for updates on the progress of their piece (/s).

5. We deliver your dress to you, made to fit like a glove!

Can I change my order?

Once your order has been confirmed, it’s not currently possible for you to change or cancel it prior to dispatch. However, you will be sent an email confirming the details of your order thoroughly before you are asked to make payment. This is typically done within 3 days of you filling in the order form in The Muses - Unique section of the website.

Why is the e-boutique private and not accessible to everyone?

The idea behind the private e-boutique is to keep the online shopping experience private and exclusive. We understand that people have reservations about ordering online and so we will only send the link for payment once you are happy with the details of your piece and we have had a confirmation email stating as much.

The time to think it over also helps customers decide on the finer details and any further questions you have can be submitted to us online anytime.  If the detail is important to you, it is also important to us no matter how small it may seem.

Do Samata's Muse confirm once you have received my customising material?

Absolutely. An email will be sent out as soon as your material arrives and you will be able to email a designated email address for updates on your piece.

Refund questions

Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations you have seven working days (beginning the day after receipt of goods) to cancel your purchase from www.samatasmuse.com and ask for a full refund. In this case we will provide you with a full refund but we will ask you to cover the cost of returning the goods.

Delivery questions

I may not be home when delivery is attempted - what should I do?

The courier service we will be using will leave you a card informing you that delivery has been attempted alongside details on how to obtain your package.

Can I track my order?

Yes. We have created a special email address for orders. Drop us an email and we will give you the current status of your piece. Complete orders are sent out through courier so you will be able to trace your order once we have sent it out to you.

What are your delivery times?

We aim to deliver Standard Delivery orders within 7-14 working days. Please note that your order may appear as 'Order Processing' for 3 working days after it has been placed as we finalise the details with you. If you require your order to arrive on a particular date a premium service can be ordered which involves an additional charge for delivery.

Please enquire after this service by emailing sales@samatasmuse.com. In exceptional circumstances your delivery may take up to 21 days.  This is usually in cases where we have to source specific materials for your piece. For destinations outside the UK you will have to allow a certain amount of additional days for delivery.

Why does it take so long to get my order?

Every dress is made to specific requirements and hand beaded when required. In addition we source fabrics from various international destinations including Italy and France to ensure the highest quality possible - this directly affects the amount of time it takes to make your pieces. Pieces with less customisation work involved will take much less time.
