Introduction
Samata’s Muse is a designer clothing label based in London specialising in the production of edgy fashion pieces for women. Our clothing label is borne out of the belief that what we wear and how we feel in our clothes can affect the way we feel about ourselves - if even for a moment or day.
A Muse by definition is an artists’ source of inspiration and designer Samata Angel is inspired by women from all walks of life, fashion and beauty – these inspirations culminate in stunning pieces of clothing and the different ranges that the label is now presenting to the world. Samata's Muse grew out of a deep-seated desire to make pieces of clothing, each so original and unique, taking a certain type of person to wear and make their own by adding a personal sense of style.
About the founder
Designer Samata Angel set up the company in 2005 after years spent creating unique pieces of clothing for women. Having spent time working in the fashion industry with positions ranging from Head of Marketing for a Japanese clothing label and later as Head of PR for exclusive Kings Road boutique Elival Fashion Incubator she decided to officially launch Samata's Muse following growing interest in her work. A natural creative Samata worked as a freelance designer whilst going against the grain and obtaining a degree in Economics, Finance and Management at Queen Mary & Westfield, London.
